In preparation for the WorldSkills ASEAN Singapore 2020, Singapore has held the 1st Organising Committee Meeting (1st OCM) on 15 & 16 Jul 2019 at the Carlton Hotel Singapore.
In preparation for WorldSkills ASEAN 2020, which Singapore will host in July 2020; the first Organising Committee Meeting (OCM) took place between 15 and 16 July 2019 at the Carlton Hotel, Singapore.
The first OCM marked the start of planning for the actual competition. We were happy to host more than 40 Official Delegates and Technical Delegates from the 10 ASEAN member countries. They discussed on strategic areas related to WorldSkills ASEAN Singapore 2020.
These included the confirmation of skills areas, the nomination of jury chairpersons and chief/deputy chief experts, and the confirmation of competition rules and procedures.
The ASEAN delegates will meet again at the first Technical Committee Meeting (TCM) at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront hotel from 8 to 13 December 2019. We look forward to seeing you then!
